Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Response Peer Support Specialist for part-time overnight work (7PM–7AM) in the Lompoc/Santa Barbara region.

The role provides peer support under supervision to individuals in crisis, focusing on recovery, advocacy, and relationship-building in community settings. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, lived mental health/SUD experience, and either Medi-Cal Peer Support certification or ability to obtain it shortly after hire;

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
• A mental health/SUD lived experience.
• Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification or ability to obtain after hire within an agreed upon time frame.
• 80-hour Peer Support Learning or equivalent – successfully completed within 90 days of hire or has taken the training within 2-years of hire.
• Has current techniques of behavioral intervention training within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support in mobile crisis under supervision.
• Mentor, advocate for people in recovery and build relationships.
• Support crisis de-escalation and stabilization as part of MRT.
• Assist individuals seeking recovery and connect with resources.
