Job summary
Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a Mobile Crisis LVN to respond to mental health crises in the field, travelling to caller locations to provide crisis intervention, assessment, documentation, and holds as needed.
The role supports the Mobile Response Team with supervision of the Peer Specialist and collaboration with licensed clinicians to de-escalate crises and connect individuals with resources in Lompoc and Santa Barbara County.
Qualifications
- Current licensure in California as an LVN.
- Current CA driver's license.
- Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
- Current CPR and first aid certifications.
- Knowledge of DBT, WRAP, and psychosocial rehabilitation principles preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, and compassionate responses to individuals during a mental health crisis.
- Travel to caller locations to provide crisis intervention and assess holds.
- Supervise the Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT).
- De-escalate crises and coordinate with supervisors to connect individuals with resources.
