Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician LCSW for a Full Time, Day position in Springfield, Oregon. This role provides timely behavioral health assessments in the Emergency Department and inpatient units, involving risk assessments and disposition planning for appropriate care settings.

The clinician will deliver individual, family, and group therapies, lead or supervise CSWA/ MSW interns when needed, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure trauma-informed,

Qualifications

• MSW required and licensed in Oregon.
• Minimum 3 years in behavioral health setting.
• Experience diagnosing and treating complex mental health conditions.
• Clinical supervision experience preferred.
• QMHP and CADC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family, group, and multi-family group therapy to patients with complex diagnostic presentations.
• May provide clinical leadership to a team of masters’ and bachelors’ level clinicians, CSWA candidates and MSW interns.
• Assesses, develops, implements, and monitors a comprehensive plan of care through an interdisciplinary team process in conjunction with the patient and their self-identified natural supports.
• Evaluates and provides interventions to improve a patient’s cognitive, social, vocational, spiritual, and emotional functioning, utilizing natural and community supports when possible.
• Provides urgent/crisis evaluations, interventions, and safety planning.
• Together with consumer and natural supports, identifies key problems, strengths and resources to be addressed in the treatment plan.
• May provide case management, coordination with other treatment agencies or outside support services, outreach, and engagement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
