Job summary

City of Somerville is seeking a Project Assistant to manage administrative tasks for the MB CIT TTAC training center and COHR Unit. The role involves coordinating trainings, scheduling and logistics, and maintaining training records, websites, and communications with partner agencies.

Based at the Somerville Police Department with frequent travel across Metro-Boston and North Shore regions to support trainings and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or criminal justice is required.
• Master’s degree in Social Work or Public Health is preferred or actively pursuing.
• Grant and budget management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site administrative management and TA during trainings.
• Schedule presenters, facilities, and training locations; manage registrations and attendance.
• Coordinate post-training administrative processes and documentation.
• Office management for the COHR Unit and MB CIT TTAC.
• Maintain and develop MB CIT TTAC website and online resources.
