Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Instructional Assistant Program Coordinator for the Multi-Agency Public Safety program. The role involves supervising classes across MFA campuses, reviewing evaluations, and helping develop curricula and new programs.

Occasional travel across the Commonwealth is required. The position emphasizes coaching instructors, delivering high-quality training, and coordinating with DFS staff to ensure proper materials and equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of fire service or emergency service experience (e.g., fire officer, fire investigator, training officer).
• Instructor within a training program for at least five years.
• Fire Instructor II completion or three years equivalent experience in instructional curriculum development and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple classes at MFA campuses and throughout the Commonwealth.
• Review and summarize student evaluations; develop and revise curricula and materials.
• Develop tests, questionnaires, and procedures to measure curriculum effectiveness.
