Job summary

YWCA of Hawai'i Island is seeking a compassionate Advocate/Intervention Specialist for its Sexual Assault Support Services team. Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience working in a helping role with children and/or adults.
• Crisis intervention or sexual assault advocacy experience preferred.
• Valid Hawaii driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis hotline calls and attend call-outs in a timely manner.
• Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and advocacy to survivors and their families.
• Maintain organized client files and assist with general office upkeep.
