The YWCA of Greater Harrisburg is seeking a full-time Crisis Advocate and Counselor to provide critical intervention and support to individuals affected by domestic and sexual violence. Responsibilities include medical and legal accompaniments, crisis intervention, hotline counseling, emergency shelter support, advocacy, and assistance with emergency protection orders.

The position also delivers short-term, empowerment-based individual and group counseling services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with relevant experience.
• Prior advocacy, social work, or human services experience.
• Reliable vehicle for travel and valid driver's license.
• Clear FBI, Child Abuse, and State Police clearances.
