Job summary

CMHA-CEI is seeking a crisis services professional to provide direct and indirect mental health and substance abuse support within a multidisciplinary team in Lansing, MI. You will deliver in-person and phone-based crisis interventions, refer to community services, and help coordinate hospital referrals.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of supervised experience with high-need populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field required.
• Two years supervised experience in examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families with SEI or related conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally; proficient with CMHA-CEI software.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect mental health and substance abuse crisis intervention.
• Assist with hospital referrals and coordinating services.
• May provide case management and develop strength-based family-centered plans.
• Deliver detailed case documentation and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
