Job summary

CMHA-CEI in Lansing, Michigan seeks a qualified professional to perform a range of direct and indirect mental health and substance abuse services as part of a multidisciplinary crisis-oriented team. You will provide in-person and phone-based crisis intervention, assist with hospital referrals, and coordinate referrals to community programs.

The role may include case management and documentation while upholding CMHA-CEI’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field required.
• Two years supervised experience in examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families with SEW/ID is required.
• Must gain proficiency in CMHA-CEI computer software systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and assistance with hospital referrals.
• Recommends referrals to programs and services in the community.
• May provide case management and brief crisis intervention planning.
• Maintain detailed case documentation.
