Job summary

Centerstone is seeking compassionate crisis care consultants to join a 24/7 suicide prevention call team in Illinois. You will perform brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, and linkage to appropriate services for individuals in acute distress.

Ideal for recent graduates; you will work with a dynamic team, attend trainings, and contribute to quality assurance while maintaining professional communication and community resource connections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist required.
• One year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic clinical screenings and risk assessments.
• Conduct outreach calls to promote safety.
• Meet ethical and clinical standards in accreditation.
• Attend team meetings and ongoing training.
• Demonstrate high-level customer service and professional etiquette.
• Provide service linkage and referrals to programs and resources.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration with departments and community partners.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
