Job summary

Rosecrance Walnut – Champaign, IL is seeking an Engagement Specialist to provide mobile crisis response and outreach within the community. You will engage individuals hesitant to interact with mental health professionals, building trust and directing them to appropriate resources.

You will collaborate with the clinical team to design and evaluate crisis solutions while maintaining professional confidentiality and client-centered care. Bilingual or CRSS readiness is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; RSA designation required.
• Willingness to be a role model for recovery.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements.
• Must have own transportation.
• Belief in the mission of Rosecrance.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile crisis response services in the community when dispatched in partnership with the team.
• Engage individuals hesitant to interact with mental health professionals through trust-building and resource provision.
• Participate in design, implementation and evaluation of crisis solutions.
• Advocate for individuals with professionalism and collaborative approach.
