Job summary

Connections Health Solutions in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Unit Coordinator II to provide administrative and clerical support to clinical services, oversee registration, insurance verification, and daily unit operations.

You will coordinate enrollment, handle petitions, relay information between hospital staff and providers, monitor timelines for involuntary processes, and help with bed placement in the EHR.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of administrative experience.
• Notary within 90 days.
• Compliance with mandatory vaccination policy.

Responsibilities

• Registers and checks enrollment eligibility, including Third Party Liability and private insurance.
• Coordinates the administrative process for handling petitions and logs the petition.
• Relays consumer information from hospital ED staff, clinical staff, family members, or other providers.
• Arranges pickup orders with police and manages COE/PAD detention orders.
• Oversees bed placement of patient within the EHR and coordinates with other facilities.
• Answers admission and discharge calls and maintains the patient board.
