Job summary

De-escalation skills are essential to maintain patient safety during crises. You will collaborate with treatment teams, participate in group sessions, and contribute to maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the healthcare field with patient care experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/NA certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care ensuring comfort and safety.
• Assist patients with daily living activities (meals, restroom, showers).
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to prevent crises.
• Observe and record patient activities and behaviors per policies.
• Collaborate with treatment team to ensure efficient patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient areas and equipment.
• Perform hand-off communications at shift change.
