Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (Crisis Stabilization) to support intake, assessment, and care planning. You will assist in monitoring patients, gathering vitals, and aiding in admissions and discharges, while leading milieu activities and ensuring safety.

The role involves direct patient care, crisis response, and collaboration with the treatment team to support individual goals and progress within the unit.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring patients' physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Ability to obtain vitals and document in charting systems.
• Support admissions, discharge processes and orientation to unit.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wellbeing and report unusual behavior to supervisor.
• Obtain vitals during shift per directives and document findings.
• Provide ADL supplies and help keep living areas clean and organized.
• Lead milieu activities such as groups and recreation.
• Document observations in Carelogic and follow procedures.
• Respond to crisis situations and assist with safe interventions.
