Job summary

View Point Health is seeking a Triage Assistant to support admissions into the Crisis Stabilization Unit and Temporary Observation Unit. The role involves triage logging, insurance verification, and coordinating authorizations while ensuring accurate data entry across CSP and ECR platforms.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant social services experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred for clerical/data tracking skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years related social services experience; or 1 year at SST010.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree with clerical/data tracking experience.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have valid Georgia driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admissions into CSU and TOU.
• Complete triage referral logs, verify insurance coverage, and ensure authorizations.
• Request initial and concurrent treatment authorizations.
• Register/discharge individuals in the CSP/ECR platforms with accurate information.
• Monitor the CSP Platform board for admissions and document reviews.
• Respond to referrals and information requests from sources.
• Serve as entry point for referrals and assess caller eligibility for services.
• Provide general clerical support and maintain confidentiality of records.
