Job summary

View Point Health in Georgia is seeking a Triage Assistant to support admissions and crisis stabilization services within the Adult CSU. This full-time role supports admissions flow, triage referrals, and initial assessments, working 7:00am–3:30pm in a 40-hour week.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2 years of related social services experience; preferred candidates may have a bachelor’s degree and data-tracking skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in social services or related field.
• Experience with intake, referrals, and documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admissions into CSU and assist with flow of admissions into TOU.
• Complete triage referral logs, verify insurance coverage, and ensure timely response to calls.
• Request initial and concurrent treatment authorizations within allotted time frames.
• Request clear information about referrals, register and discharge individuals in CSP/ECR platforms.
• Monitor CSP Platform board for admissions and document reviews, acceptances or denials.
• Respond to referral sources' questions and assist as needed.
• Serve as entry point for referrals and determine caller eligibility for services.
• Provide general clerical support: scanning, filing, faxing, and recordkeeping.
• Support transportation scheduling and logistics for client admissions and evaluations.
• Assist with census, KPI tracking, and acuity reports; participate in treatment team notes.
• Greet clients, assess needs, guide to correct locations, and maintain confidentiality.
