Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.

• Proficient in computer skills and ability to document calls accurately.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass a background check and complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Screen requests for services to determine problems, assess risk, and prioritize needs.
• Facilitate admission and determine appropriate level of care using criteria.
• Complete initial telephonic screening and schedule potential consumers.
• Assist with securing payor sources for services and provide resources.
• Respond to Lifeline calls with crisis intervention and support.
• Document interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with professionals to ensure appropriate referrals and follow-up.
• Maintain safety and ethical standards while handling high-stress situations.
