The role provides psychotherapy, triage, and crisis intervention for individuals in the CSU or in the community settings, with travel as needed and holiday coverage. The position requires strong crisis response and counseling skills, ability to collaborate with law enforcement and community agencies, and thorough documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Ability to respond professionally in a crisis situation.
• Knowledge of counseling principles and methods.
• Ability to develop interpersonal relationships with clients.
• Ability to communicate with substance abuse, mentally ill, and/or developmentally disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic services for CSU individuals and/or in the community via Crisis Mobile Team.
• Performs triage of referrals, intakes, and assessments, with appropriate aftercare planning.
• Develops and follows individualized treatment plans with goals.
• Responds to crisis intervention emergencies and coordinates care.
• Maintains documentation in EMR and ensures timely reporting.
• Works with law enforcement and community agencies to coordinate services.
• Provides crisis counseling as scheduled and attends case staffing sessions.
