Job summary

InformData is seeking a Criminal Field Researcher in Georgia to research public records and determine whether applicants have criminal or civil records. You will help clients verify identities and provide reliable background information to support informed decisions.

You will build relationships with court personnel, perform data entry into our systems, and ensure compliance with quality and turnaround standards while supporting team operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Typing speed 35 wpm minimum.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Daily access to transportation, computer, and reliable internet.
• Able to work courthouse hours and overtime with notice.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with court personnel and the public.
• Research using public records indexes to retrieve information.
• Enter results into systems, marking as clear or noting findings.
• Communicate with Supervisor about holidays, closures, or delays.
• Provide timely updates on issues affecting operations.
• Back-up for other Field Researchers as needed.
• Adhere to quality and turnaround time standards.
• Report quality concerns promptly.
• Support court copy requests and related tasks.
• Conduct searches in surrounding areas or online when assigned.
