Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree plus one year of relevant work experience.
• Associate degree plus five years of relevant work experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent plus nine years of crime analyst experience.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes crime data by collecting, disseminating and evaluating data, identifying trends and changes in criminal activity.
• Provides research support for criminal investigations by creating and maintaining records and performing database searches.
• Coordinates exchange of criminal intelligence information within the department and with other agencies.
• Determines analytic techniques and gathers data for analysis aligned with new field developments.
• Reviews crime and arrest reports, develops matrices to correlate activity, and summarizes findings.
• Produces reports and presentations for internal and external groups; public speaking may be involved.
