Qualifications

Two years of statistical research and data analysis experience in law enforcement or related field.
Able to query, edit and manipulate data across multiple tables using Crystal Reports, SQL, Excel and Access.
Experience producing reports and charts from crime data and GIS platforms.

Responsibilities

Collect, process, analyze and distribute crime data and statistics to supervise personnel.
Maintain and update intelligence data files and produce reports for leadership.
Create charts and timelines to summarize crime activity and trends.
Develop maps using ARC-GIS to identify hot spots and emerging trends.
Coordinate data analysis with other City departments and report significant patterns.
Provide complex analytical support for special projects and grants.
Prepare daily summaries and share findings with sworn staff and executives.
