Job summary

Amerijet International Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Crew Payroll Auditor in Miami, FL to ensure accuracy of the crew payroll function and interpret the collective bargaining agreement as it relates to pay.

The role focuses on establishing and driving process improvements to maintain compliance and accuracy. The successful candidate will perform pre-payroll and biweekly crew audits, review payroll data and supporting records, and collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, and Operations to reduce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field; accounting/finance or analytics preferred.
• 3-5 years of payroll experience in a complex environment.
• 3-5 years of experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong analytical, research and technical skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the Collective Bargaining Agreement, payroll policies, and procedures to ensure employees are paid accurately.
• Audit payroll data for compliance, accuracy, and proper authorization.
• Perform pre-payroll audits for General Employee, Puerto Rico, and Crew payrolls before payroll is processed.
• Review payroll registers for General Employee and Puerto Rico payrolls, including hours, pay rates, overtime, bonuses, deductions, leave, new hires, terminations, adjustments, and unusual variances.
• Conduct detailed biweekly Crew Payroll audits by reviewing flight activity, pay codes, premiums, adjustments, and supporting documentation.
• Identify payroll discrepancies, ensure corrections are completed before processing, and document outstanding issues and resolutions.
