Cheba Hut has been curing munchies since 1998 with great food, craft drinks, and a playful, non-traditional “Toasted” atmosphere. As a Crew Member in Houston, you’ll craft great food, create positive interactions, and support strong operations every shift.

You should bring energy, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork. Flexible scheduling, employee discount, and paid training help you grow with us as you provide fast, friendly service at the register, line, and lobby.

Qualifications

• Food handling certification is required (we’ll help you certify if needed).
• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide fast, friendly service at the register, line, and lobby.
• Make confident menu recommendations and interact with guests.

What You’ll Own:

• Guest Experience & Interaction
• Deliver authentic, genuine interactions
• Prioritize “interaction over the transaction.”
• Make confident menu recommendations
• Provide fast, friendly service at the register, line, and lobby
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately

Clean & Safe Environment

• Maintain strong situational awareness — keep your head on a swivel
• Clean as you go — never leave a mess behind
• Perform opening, closing, and shift duties consistently
• Maintain clean front-of-house and back-of-house areas
• Follow all employee health and safety policies

What Makes You a Fit:

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Food handling certification required (no worries if you don’t have one- we’ll help you certify)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable lifting up to 47 lbs
• Comfortable embracing Cheba Hut’s playful, non-traditional “Toasted” atmosphere
