Job summary

Cheba Hut in San Antonio is seeking a Crew Member to craft great food, create positive interactions, and support strong operations on every shift. You'll help deliver authentic, genuine interactions and prioritize guest experience, with a fast, friendly attitude at the register, line, and lobby.

This role emphasizes food safety and SOP adherence, FIFO inventory, accurate labeling, and teamwork in a playful, non-traditional Toasted atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Food handling certification required (we’ll help you certify if needed).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly service at the register, line, and lobby.
• Make confident menu recommendations and engage with guests.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Follow SOPs, FIFO and proper labeling to ensure food safety.

• Clean as you go — never leave a mess behindPerform opening, closing, and shift duties consistently
• Maintain clean front-of-house and back-of-house areas
• Follow all employee health and safety policies

What Makes You a Fit:

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable lifting up to 47 lbs
