Job summary

Lewis Tree Service seeks an experienced Crew Leader to oversee utility vegetation management crews, ensuring safe and efficient tree trimming and line clearance operations for public utilities and private clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and maintaining high safety standards, with frequent travel and ongoing certifications supported by Lewis. Competitive pay and ESOP benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a tree crew or utility vegetation management.
• Knowledge of ANSI Z133 Safety Requirements and A300 pruning standards.
• CPR and First Aid certified (provided by Lewis).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily tree crew operations and ensure safe, efficient work practices.
• Plan and assign tasks based on crew skills and job requirements.
• Monitor crew performance and conduct training and discipline as needed.
• Maintain accurate records on crew performance, incidents, and equipment issues.
• Communicate with property owners to obtain access and permissions.
