Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and act independently.
• Ability to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight limit around 300 pounds due to equipment capacity.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA requirements and conducts safety training.
• Discusses access and work terms with property owners and refers complex cases to supervisor.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Promotes good customer relations through effective completion of tasks.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew operation reports.
• Controls crew costs and manages equipment usage.
