Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson in Michigan to lead daily crew operations, assign work, and coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols.

You will troubleshoot on-site issues, train crew members, enforce OSHA-compliant practices, and maintain accurate records while safeguarding the public and property. CDL is required, and a strong communication stance is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires strong leadership and effective communication skills.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task.
• Able to adapt to field requirements with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew members.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports on crew operations.
• Interacts with property owners to obtain access and coordinate work.
• Maintains equipment and keeps trucks clean and in good condition.
• Manages crew costs and contributes to incident reporting.
• Provides reports to General Foreperson and utility reps.
