Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Crew Foreperson in Minnesota to lead daily crew operations, supervise field crews, and ensure safe, efficient work on utility lines. The role requires instructing crew members and coordinating with supervisors and property owners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Capable of adapting to field requirements and working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew members.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training per company policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicates with property owners/customers about access, work, or property damage; refers complex cases to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintain good customer relations through professional conduct and job completion.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and efficient use of resources.
