Job summary

Groundworks is seeking a Co-Foreman to step up from skilled Installer to jobsite leader in Maryland. You’ll learn to lead crews, manage daily jobsite operations, and uphold safety and quality standards with support from Foreman and a national team.

Hands-on leadership training and a certification program provide a clear path to advancement. As a Co-Foreman you’ll supervise two or more crew members, plan work, review specs, install products, maintain documentation, and ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication and motivational skills.
• Experience leading crews or small teams.
• Background in construction or home services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to enter crawl spaces and confined areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreman in leading a high-performance crew on local job sites.
• Review job specs for materials, tools, and equipment before starting.
• Assess on-site conditions and assign duties based on plans.
• Install products with guidance from a national team of trained professionals.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate work; track labor hours.
• Mentor and supervise crew; lead in Foreman's absence.
• Communicate with customers before, during, and after work.
• Safely operate company vehicles and ensure paperwork is complete.
