Job summary

Groundworks is seeking a Co-Foreman to advance from skilled Installer to jobsite leader in New York. You will learn to lead crews, manage daily operations, and uphold safety and customer satisfaction standards with hands-on leadership training and a clear path to advancement.

As a Co-Foreman, you’ll coordinate tasks, monitor progress, and assist with planning, scheduling, and mentoring two or more workers while maintaining strong communication with customers and the Foreman.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication and motivational skills; ability to work as a team.
• Experience leading crews or small teams.
• Experience in construction or home services and/or trade work or general labor.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreman with leading a high-performance team serving customers in a local market/area.
• Review job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed prior to reporting to job site.
• Assess conditions of the job on-site; set plans based on time, tools, and order of work; assign duties.
• Install products and services with support of a national team of trained professionals.
• Lead crew in Foreman’s absence and supervise two or more workers.
• Communicate with customer before, during and after completion of the job.
• Complete paperwork, check-in and check-out procedures as needed.
