Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, enforce safety, and coordinate with management. CDL preferred but not required. A focus on training, customer relations, and efficient job completion is essential. Valid driver’s license required with CDL-B preferred.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, field supervision, and adherence to OSHA standards while maintaining equipment and records.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL-B preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training per policy.
• Communicates with property owners/customers to obtain access and resolve issues.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance and costs.
• Furnishes reports on orders, incidents, and equipment status.
