Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Appleton, WI seeks a Foreperson to lead daily field operations, plan crew work, and coordinate with management on safety and productivity. You’ll train the crew, enforce OSHA standards, and maintain critical records.

You will manage customer relations, ensure DOT compliance and safe equipment use, and supervise field staff to meet deadlines and quality goals. This is a challenging, hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines and voltages.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
• Able to multi-task and adapt to field requirements.
• Capable of operating independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew members.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintains customer relations and coordinates access with owners.
• Manages records, timesheets, and crew efficiency reports.
• Ensures DOT maintenance and inspection requirements.
• Reports on incidents, equipment issues, and training needs.
