Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability. This job is Part-time and has flexible hours.

Position is IN-PERSON in the Wilmington, DE area. Strong language proficiency and professional interpreting experience are required, along with the ability to pass a background check and coordinate transportation to assignments.

Qualifications

Proficiency in languages other than English preferred; may require a proficiency test.
At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience on resume.
Background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry required.
Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
Comfort with using a computer, phone apps, or tablet for input.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

It is preferred that candidates possess documentation to show proficiency in languages other than English.If documentation is not available, candidates might be asked to complete a proficiency test
Candidates MUST have at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience on their resume.Language proficiency alone is NOT sufficient. Volunteer interpreting for a school or church, or interpreting for family/friends is NOT sufficient
Must be willing to get a background check, including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry
Must have reliable transportation to get to job assignment
