Interpreters travel to local client sites within the Dover area and work in-person during daytime hours. Candidates must be fluent in English and Creole, with 5-10 hours per week availability, reliable transportation, and comfort using a smartphone or computer for job input.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Creole.
• Daytime availability between 9AM and 5PM.
• Able to commit 5–10 hours per week.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• 1+ years interpreting experience preferred.
• Certifications (CMI, CCHI) preferred.
• Willing to undergo background check (Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry).
• Reliable phone service and ability to input data on computer or smartphone.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not required
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.), but not required
• Candidates mustbe willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry
• Must have reliable phone service for contact
• Must be comfortable with using a computer or smart phone for job input
