Interpreters must have daytime availability, with you setting your own schedule; mileage is paid for assignments.

Immediate need for Creole interpreters, in-person work, and an emphasis on reliable communication. A background check will be required, with documentation preferred for languages beyond English.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• - It is preferred that candidates possess documentation to show proficiency in languages other than English.If documentation is not available, candidates might be asked to complete a proficiency test.
• - Candidates MUST have at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience on their resume.Language proficiency alone is NOT sufficient. Volunteer interpreting for a school or church or interpreting for family/friends is NOT sufficient.
• - Must be willing to get a background check, including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry
• - Must have reliable phone service for contact.
