Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. is seeking Creole interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, and more. Interpreters must have daytime availability and can set their own schedule; mileage is paid.

The position requires Creole language proficiency with an immediate need noted. In-person, Wilmington, DE area jobs are available, with requirements including a background check and reliable contact information.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience on resume.
• Documentation showing proficiency in languages other than English preferred; proficiency tests may be required if documentation is unavailable.
• Willing to undergo background checks including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry.
• Must have reliable phone service for contact.

Responsabilités

• Interpret for Schools, State Agencies, Attorneys, and medical appointments.
• Create your own schedule; accept and decline jobs around your schedule.
• Available at least 6 hours a week, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
• Mileage is paid for every job.
• Late cancellations are paid.

Job Requirements

• Candidates are preferred to have documentation showing proficiency in languages other than English.If documentation is not available, candidates might be asked to complete a proficiency test
• Candidates MUST have at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience on their resume.Language proficiency alone is NOT sufficient. Volunteer interpreting for a school or church, or interpreting as part of job duties, will be considered.
