Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP’s CMBS Special Servicer group in Chicago seeks a creditors' rights litigation associate to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate has 3 to 6 years handling foreclosures, receiverships, loan enforcement, real estate litigation, guarantor lawsuits, post-judgment work, and bankruptcies, including motion practice and discovery.

Qualifications

• Active law license in Illinois or other listed jurisdictions.
• 3–6 years experience in commercial litigation.
• Experience in commercial foreclosures and related litigation.
• Ability to handle motion practice, discovery, and court appearances.

Responsibilities

• Handle foreclosures, receiverships, loan enforcement litigation.
• Manage real estate-related litigation and guarantor lawsuits.
• Oversee post-judgment collection and bankruptcy matters.
• Conduct motion practice and discovery, including e-discovery.
• Participate in courtroom proceedings.
