Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney, Creditors' Rights (Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, and Collections) for a remote/hybrid role. You will manage foreclosures, bankruptcies, and collections, draft pleadings, and support mortgage servicers and lenders through hearings and filings.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, an active NC law license, and 1–4 years of practice, with comfort in a hybrid/remote setup. Competitive compensation, benefits, and ongoing CLE/bar support are included.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in North Carolina, in good standing.
• 1 to 4 years of experience practicing law.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of foreclosure, bankruptcy, and or collections matters from initiation through resolution.
• Represent clients, primarily mortgage servicers and lenders, at court hearings and proceedings tied to those matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal filings, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards including FDCPA.
• Communicate status updates and strategic guidance to servicer and lender clients.
• Collaborate with paralegals and case managers within the centralized case management structure.
• Stay current on changes to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections law affecting ongoing matters.
