Job summary

Jobot, a national creditors' rights law firm, seeks a Permanent Associate Attorney in the mortgage arena with a focus on creditor rights. This role features no billables and a chance to handle foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin matters.

You'll represent the organization in creditor rights matters, review and negotiate legal documents, stay informed on evolving mortgage laws, and collaborate with fellow attorneys to secure favorable outcomes while maintaining high ethical standards.

Qualifications

Must have a JD from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in NY.
Minimum of 3 years experience as an attorney focusing on creditor rights.
Experience in foreclosure, financial institutions, bankruptcy, and replevin.

Responsibilities

Representing the organization in all legal matters related to creditor rights.
Providing legal advice and guidance on foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Developing and implementing strategies to safeguard the organization's legal and financial interests.
Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our organization.
Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations related to the mortgage industry and creditor rights.
Providing training and guidance to other team members on legal matters related to creditor rights.
