Jobot is seeking a Permanent Associate Attorney focused on creditor rights for a mortgage industry client with no billables. You will handle foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin matters, providing strategic legal guidance to safeguard the firm's interests.

The role requires a JD, Indiana license, and at least 3 years of creditor rights experience. The position offers a hybrid schedule with remote consideration, competitive salary, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Indiana.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an attorney focusing on creditor rights.
• Experience in foreclosure, financial institutions, bankruptcy, and replevin.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Knowledge of the mortgage industry and its laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Representing the organization in all legal matters related to creditor rights.
• Providing legal advice and guidance on foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Developing and implementing strategies to safeguard the organization's legal and financial interests.
• Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the organization.
• Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations related to the mortgage industry and creditor rights.
• Providing training and guidance to other team members on legal matters related to creditor rights.
