The attorney will appear at court hearings, draft pleadings and motions, and interact with clients and opposing counsel. This remote opportunity offers meaningful, collaborative work within a growing firm; candidates should be detail-oriented and proficient in MS Office and case management software,

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Indiana license or ability to obtain license immediately.

Responsibilities

Attend court hearings.
Monitor files from answer to judgment.
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to resolve matters.
Provide clients with status updates verbally and via email/websites.
Review file information for accuracy and completeness.
Summarize legal documents.
Prepare declarations and affidavits.
Prepare correspondence to courts, attorneys and clients.
Prepare and file pleadings.
Draft motions and responses to motions.
Review bankruptcy filings and notices.
Perform online records research.
