Job summary

Qualifications

• Two to Five years of similar or related experience
• Ability to be bonded
• Interpersonal skills capable of handling confidential information and communicating with members

Responsibilities

• 55% Responsible for collection of accounts over 16 days delinquent, including arranging payment plans, interviewing members to determine reasons for delinquency, and taking actions such as loan modifications or workouts
• 10% Prepare Small Claims Court documentation and documentation for assignment to collection agencies or attorney; attend court hearings
• 10% Prepare accounts for repossession/foreclosure and manage bankruptcy claims through dismissal, discharge or reaffirmation
• 5% Assign accounts to third party collection agencies and maintain activity records
• 5% Monitor and process loan payoff information and communicate with dealerships and insurance companies
