First Hawaiian Bank is seeking an analytical and detail oriented Credit Underwriter I to join the Credit department. You will assess credit requests, analyze financial statements, and underwrite commercial lending opportunities with a focus on low-complexity credits.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
1 year of experience in credit analysis
At least 2 years of financial analysis and/or commercial lending experience preferred
Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements
Must be organized, detail oriented and accurate with numbers

Mansioni

Prepare credit requests and annual reviews for existing credit facilities
Analyze financial statements and underwrite credit requests for the Bank's commercial customers
Assess credit, structural, business and financial risk of borrowers for low-complexity credits
