Job summary

Happen Bank is seeking a Credit Risk professional in San Francisco to design and manage underwriting and pricing strategies for personal loans. You will craft risk models, build dashboards, and work with AI tools to optimize risk-adjusted revenue while expanding data sources.

You will collaborate with technology teams in a hybrid in-office model, using SQL/SAS/R/Python and BI tools to monitor KPIs and present insights to senior leadership, driving improvements across the loan portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field; or equivalent work experience.
• Strong SQL/SAS/R/Python and data visualization skills.
• Experience building risk models and dashboards for monitoring KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit risk strategies including underwriting and pricing.
• Design A/B tests to evaluate risk-return tradeoffs.
• Build automated dashboards to monitor KPIs and report insights to leadership.
• Mine loan data to drive risk mitigation, pricing optimization, and revenue growth.
• Expand data sources used in credit decisioning and re-engineer data usage.
• Collaborate with technology teams to implement new strategies and AI tools.
