Happen Bank is seeking a Financial Innovation Manager for Consumer Lending in San Francisco. You will shape the next generation of lending products, from concept to market, emphasizing digital origination, low-doc processes, and fair lending compliance.

You will lead product development across the lifecycle, partner with Credit and Risk, and use AI to speed research while maintaining sound judgment on credit and regulatory requirements. This hybrid role centers in SF.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in consumer or small business lending, fintech, or financial services product/strategy.
• Proven track record launching digital lending products online.
• Experience with cash-flow underwriting and credit risk fundamentals.
• Comfort turning data into decisions with SQL/Excel.
• Full lifecycle product ownership from insight to go/no-go.

Responsibilities

• Drive lending product development from strategy to pilot in the small-dollar range.
• Design and optimize a fast, low-doc digital origination experience.
• Collaborate with Credit and Risk to integrate data signals into lending decisions.
• Define decisioning paths for new/ underserved segments and test promotions.
• Set metrics and run experiments to scale successful pilots.
• Develop business case, pricing, and portfolio monitoring for pilots.
