Job summary

Happen Bank is seeking a Sr Personal Loans Analyst to drive performance across its Personal Loans programs, including TopUp, Refinance, and Pre-Approved offers. You will partner with Product, Marketing, Risk, and Finance to translate performance insights into actionable decisions.

You will build dashboards, analyze trends, and support test-and-learn initiatives while preserving a fast, data-driven decision culture in a hybrid San Francisco environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, consulting, or a related analytical role.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Experience using AI tools with good judgement on when to rely on them.
• Collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly.
• Curious about the unsecured lending ecosystem and bias toward action.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of initiatives across core Personal Loans programs (TopUp, Refi, Pre-Approved/Prescreen) and growth efforts.
• Develop and roll out new offer features, pricing, fees, eligibility, and customer experience improvements.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Risk, and Finance to meet shared goals.
• Analyze performance data to surface trends, flag issues, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports; use AI tools to speed up analysis and surface insights.
• Support test-and-learn analyses by designing analyses, tracking results, and translating findings into next steps.
• Identify opportunities to streamline recurring analyses and reporting workflows with new tools and approaches.
