Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis and collections practices.
• Ability to read and interpret credit reports and customer financial data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with ethical negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced credit environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of assigned customer accounts per Credit Policy.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and cash receipts.
• Initiate outbound calls and written communication to past-due customers.
• Resolve open receivables and reduce delinquent balances within terms.
• Generate professional email correspondence and address issues judiciously.
• Communicate with Sales, Transportation, and Accounting on credit decisions and status.
• Collaborate to resolve billing, invoicing, shipment, or payment discrepancies.
• Review accounts with Credit Manager to address risks or improvements.
• Respond to inbound inquiries about billing, invoices, payments, and credit status.
• Research orders and holds to minimize service disruptions.
