Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze creditworthiness across Rental, National Rental and FMG segments. The role provides credit and business recommendations to local management to support sales revenue growth while mitigating risk.

The position requires experience in commercial credit, financial statement analysis, and strong communication. Travel is 1-10% and the role includes reviewing and securing client documentation and coordinating with loss, collections, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
Two (2) years or more experience in commercial credit.
Two (2) years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and assess credit risks.

Responsibilities

Analyze credit requests on new customers and increases in credit lines.
Review credit reports, Ryder and company history, and financial statements.
Determine credit line and risk-reduction actions for customers.
Communicate with loss, collections, sales and operations on high-risk accounts.
Verify documentation and security from customers (ACH amendments, deposits, ILOCs, guarantees).
Support daily Credit Hold Mailbox workflow.
