Bray Controls, a Bray International, Inc. subsidiary, seeks a seasoned Credit Release & Credit Specialist in Houston, onsite, five days a week. The role manages credit-related requests, reviews accounts, and releases orders per policy while coordinating with Sales and branches.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in corporate collections, ERP experience, and strong Excel skills. Requires detail orientation and the ability to multitask in a multi-location environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years of corporate collections experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years in a multi-location processing environment, ideally using an ERP system.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of management and customers.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Review and process credit-related requests from the shared inbox.
• Evaluate customer accounts and determine actions for orders on credit hold.
• Release orders in line with credit policies, approved limits, and payment status.
• Communicate with Sales and branch personnel to resolve credit hold issues.
• Research account status, payment activity, and supporting docs to inform decisions.
• Monitor requests to meet SLAs and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain records of credit decisions, updates, and communications.
• Escalate high-risk or non-standard cases to management.
