Job summary

Global Industrial seeks a detail-oriented credit & ar professional in Buford, GA to maximize credit release while vetting orders to meet company standards. You will research customer credit, perform reference checks, and communicate findings to internal partners to enable timely order processing.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer interaction.
• Alpha and numeric data entry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Solid analytical proficiencies.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints is required.
• Must have previous A/R background.

Responsibilities

• Research and compile credit information on customers to facilitate order release.
• Perform credit application and trade reference research to obtain credit evidence from financial institutions and customer vendors.
• Carry out thorough credit checks to enable the initiation of sound credit decisions.
• Inform internal business partners of progress of credit investigation.
• Communicate with customers when other special credit requirements or advance deposits are deemed necessary.
• Perform other duties as required.
